Hello! I’m Ashlee—wife, momma, writer, photographer, and the founder of Coffee + Crumbs.

I’ve been married for seven years to the man of my dreams and together we have a two year-old son named Everett. He is our greatest joy and shared accomplishment. We live in Sacramento, where we have formed some of the best friendships in our lifetime. This city is full of good food and good people, and we’ll probably be here a while.

Brett’s a computer nerd; I’m an artist. I never replace the toilet paper roll and he always gets water in the toothpaste cap. We love each other anyways. Our marriage isn’t perfect, but we try to keep it full of grace. Every day we’re learning how to love each other a little bit better than the day before.

I love: Jesus, frozen yogurt, Go Girl energy drinks, good friends, fresh air, and movie theater popcorn. I smile a lot and generally consider the glass half full. This is where I write about the good stuff, the hard stuff, and everything in between.

I read your blog to your sister and it was very touching! I wish I had a sister or even a mother that would have given me advice like that ten years ago! I’m 25 and I have 2 beautiful girl and a step daughter that is 14yrs old! I would love to talk more with you! Your blog has inspired me so much!

    Hey Ashlee-
I have been following you blog for a few months now as my husband and I are expecting in December. It is so nice to read your posts- they are great information and funny! :) Just wondering if you would be willing to send me a copy of the things you registered for (tarasuehansen@hotmail.com). I am starting that daunting task of registering. I think it is more difficult than doing it for your wedding because there are so many brands/styles/etc. Thank you. Tara from MN

    Hi Ashlee,

So I came across your blog through another travel blog that I’m currently reading. To be honest, just writing this comment makes me feel all strange inside (especially since I don’t even know you!) But, I LOVE your blog. I don’t know what it is about your writing, but I feel I can relate to a lot of the things you talk about (besides being married and having a baby). I read your post about the letter to Callie who is 15, and although I’m a few years older, it reinforced my values and belief’s. So thank you. I get those reassurances from friends and family, but knowing that I am not the only person out there who won’t settle for any less than I deserve, really made my day. So thanks!

And I hope this comment didn’t creep you out!
