Thirty-one hours stalking job websites + fourteen cover letters + two resume re-writes + six interviews + eight thank-you e-mails  + two rejections + lots of prayer + five weeks of dedication/frustration/stress/anxiety
= dream job secured.

It wasn’t pretty.

To my sweet supportive husband, thank you for listening to me complain, consoling me when I cried, doing the dishes when I was too tired even though I was home all day while you were working, printing copies of my resume at work when our home printer ran out of ink, helping me make my blog look pretty, proofreading my cover letters and e-mails, reassuring me that my happiness was more important than the number on my paychecks, sending me good luck text messages before my interviews ….everything.
