I’m reeeeeeeeally behind on blogging photography sessions, but here are a few favorites from my last three shoots.
The last one? That’s Melissa and Josh, and I’m shooting their BIRTH in a couple of weeks. Well, Melissa is due in a couple weeks, but the baby could arrive anytime! CAN YOU BELIEVE I GET TO PHOTOGRAPH A BIRTH?! I am terrified and excited but mostly excited. We loved having my friend Sarah Maren at Everett’s birth and I will forever cherish the photos she captured that day for us. I hope I can do the same for Melissa and Josh! Eek!

What a gift to be present for a birth! I cherish the photos from my birth and look at them often. Odd that so many people say such strange comments when they learn I had a photographer there, like there are shots of my private parts. Whatever. Enjoy it, even though it’s not enjoyable being on call for 5 weeks!
Yeah I had a c-section so luckily there were no private parts to avoid, ha. The being on call thing is so nerve wracking, especially since I had a scheduled c-section. I’m not used to this!!
