three months old.

I have to say, as magical as that first month was, and as fun as the second month was, month #3 has stolen my heart. At three months old, Everett is smiling and babbling and let’s not forget—sleeping through the night! Hallelujah! He is so much fun right now. Ever since implementing a routine, our days have become a lot more enjoyable. My favorite part of this stage is seeing how much Everett loves to read….er, be read to. Brett and I take turns reading him stories every night. We put him in our bed and lie next to him, holding the book up in the air. His eyes get wide and he flaps his arms in excitement. And then, after we say “the end” he gets super talkative. He just babbles and babbles, as if he’s giving us a complete review of the storyline. Did someone say book club? Party of three?

I’m also pretty sure he’s turning into a total momma’s boy. His eyes follow me wherever I go. No matter who is holding him, he is always looking for momma.

I’ll allow it…. ;)

    Two things:

    1) I can’t believe he’s three months old already – I feel like just yesterday you were in NYC and pregnant.

    2) He flaps his arms when you read to him and then gets super talkative? I die of the cuteness. No really, I’m dead because it’s too adorable to handle.

I have to say, having them always wanting to know where you are never gets old. Even when its wanting to know whre you are when you’re in the bathroom, at that moment it might be annoying, but when they want to give you a hug when you get out, its all worth it!
