Welp, it’s official. I am 25 years old. Has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?
This birthday weekend consisted of: not-so-healthy road trip snacks, a sleepover at my bff’s house, tasty almond waffles in Malibu, a mini shopping spree in Santa Monica, beach lunches in Laguna, many flavored mojitos, 11 whole hours in Disneyland (!!!), a looooot of time in the car, and endless pizzettas at L Wine Lounge with a few close friends who were kind enough to brave the storm and join me for a cocktail.
Thank you to everyone who sent sweet messages and made me feel special on Sunday, especially to my birthday twin Diana who took time on her 30th birthday in Rome to send me a little gift and a sweet note. Is it just me, or could we all use more friends like that? Not to mention, be friends like that? 
Food for thought in this next quarter century….

A few things:
a) Where did you have almond waffles in Malibu? (Do you know if the Malibu Inn has reopened?)
b) How did you make it back in one piece over the Grapevine on Sunday? (I was down in SoCal and my flight got canceled due to the severe weather), and
c) I’ve never been to the L Wine Lounge and I think I am missing out.
